Two and a half years after Marbella's General Urban Development Plan (PGOU), approved in 2010, was annulled by Supreme Court rulings in November 2015, the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) yesterday published the revised text of the 1986 PGOU.
The consolidated text incorporates all the modifications made to the 86 Plan, which has been applied since that court decision, during the last 32 years, which provides greater legal certainty to all urban planning procedures carried out in the city.
The preparation of a consolidated text of the town planning document, together with the adaptation of the PGOU to the Andalusian Town Planning Law (LOUA), constituted the solution promoted by the City Council, first by the tripartite and then by the current government, so that the city could regain legal security after the uncertainty that led to the annulment of the Plan approved in 2010.
